NEIGHBORHOODS

We're bringing the neighborhood back to life.

River Ranch, built around a central Town Square, is made up of several intimate and diverse neighborhoods.  A no soliciting policy is strictly enforced in all neighborhoods.

The hub of life in River Ranch, the Town Center is ideal for working professionals both single and married. With luxury townhouses, condominiums, and apartments built above retail and commercial businesses, this prime location is the perfect balance between the energy of city life and the relaxed pace of a friendly neighborhood. The Town Square, built around a village green is also the site of special events year-round, including the Big Easel Art Festival along with Rhythms on the River and numerous other concerts and musical performances.

Uptown

This delightful neighborhood was built with New Orleans' Garden District in mind. The architectural style born from the marriage of French and Spanish influences is seen at every turn. From the neoclassical columns and wrought iron balconies to the intimate courtyards with fountains and lush tropical plantings, Uptown has it all! Adjacent to the City Club and the Town Center, residents have walking access to everything River Ranch offers.

The Crescent Apartments

The Crescent Apartments bring the style and spirit of New Orleans to River Ranch's Town Center. French Quarter architecture and details find a variety of retail shops and commercial businesses on the first floor with luxury apartments on upper levels overlooking the lake.

Mill House

Mill House condominiums take their design cue from the fashionable Warehouse District in New Orleans with spacious interiors and beautiful custom details. Antique long leaf pine floors, 10' ceilings, granite counter tops, large walk-in closets and European glass light fixtures are just some of the luxurious amenities that make Mill House one of the most desirable addresses in the city. And it's all in walking distance of the City Club and the Town Center.

River Oaks

River Oaks, named for the lush grove of 100 year-old oaks that grace the property, offers large estate sized home sites that border the Vermillion River. Although each residence must adhere to the strict covenants of River Ranch, homes in River Oaks offer a magnificent array of architectural styles and designs.

Lakewood

Just one block from the Town Center, Lakewood offers the discreet owner/builder the beauty and serenity of lake frontage and lush wooded areas. These larger lots require adherence to stringent architectural codes that reflect the design influences of the Caribbean, West Indies and Mediterranean.

The Garden District

The street scene may remind you of old Savannah, where spacious sidewalks are lined with charming townhouses. You are greeted by neighbors on their way to one of the nearby cafes or out for a brisk morning walk. Such is the view from the Garden District that is immediately adjacent to the Town Center.  This neighborhood includes three beautifully landscaped boulevards, which serve as neighborhood parks, all lined with garden homes. The architecture ranges from Urban Creole found in New Orleans' French Quarter to Classical and Greek revival found in New Orleans Garden District. The River Ranch Garden District also includes twenty-four townhouses, fronting the Town Square, all skillfully designed to accommodate singles and families.

Parkside

Parkside is a 27-acre neighborhood designed to suit a number of lifestyles from young couples just starting a family to older couples who appreciate the less hurried pace of life at River Ranch. Parkside surrounds a lush 5-acre park complete with children's playground and athletic fields. Parkside captures the charm of old Southern towns and finds its influences in Neoclassical, Caribbean, and Acadian architecture. Each home will feature a traditional side yard with generous sidewalks and garage discreetly set back from the street.

Ellington Place

This neighborhood, lined with picket fences and front porches is ideal for families with children and pets of all ages and sizes. Ellington Park, nestled in quite corner of the neighborhood, offers a playground, basketball court and swimming pool for the use and enjoyment of all Village residents.

Edgewood

Located just across the lake from Lakewood, this neighborhood offers medium to large lots. The beautiful wooded surrounding provides a more secluded environment for owners. Edgewood is ideal for growing families who want more space and all the amenities of River Ranch at the same time.

Rosewalk

A lavishly landscaped forty-feet by four hundred feet plaza is the focal point of this charming neighborhood comprised of eighteen French Quarter-style homes that will front the plaza. These Creole cottages feature an intimate courtyard and range in size from 2,200 to 4,000 square feet.
